Doug Has been involved in the Information Technology business for over twenty years. Prior to the Information Technology field, he worked in various construction trades including underground utilities and road construction as a heavy equipment operator and as a commercial electrician. All of this experience comes together for Pacific Western Communications to understand not only how to get a cable from point A to B but the details necessary to properly route cabling both inside and outside and what is required to make it work for the Information Technology services it needs to support.

Over the last 10 years Doug has worked on design / build projects for over 100 school sites, law enforcement facilities, hospitals and various commercial buildings. Cabling projects included fiber optic cable, twisted pair phone and data cable, coaxial video cable and other various types of cable.

Certifications: BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Local Area Network Specialist (LAN), Outside Plant Specialist (OSP), Avaya Designer & Installer, Corning Cable Systems Designer and Installer, Leviton Telecom Installer, Panduit Installer, Sumitomo Futureflex Installer, Hellerman Tyton Installer and OnQ Technologies installer.

Rich has been involved in the design and construction of communications cabling systems for over 5 years. Prior to the cabling business, Rich worked in the computer service field and served in the U. S. Army.

Rich has worked on several commercial and public buildings installing phone, data and video cabling systems.

Certifications: BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Panduit Installer, Leviton Installer, Hellerman Tyton Installer and OnQ Technologies installer.
